We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, hourly position. The IT Support Specialist will work and report to the IT Operations Manager.
As part of our Team, your duties will include:
- Providing general IT support for the company, field support for PCs and POS equipment at each of our wash site
- Configuring and deploying hardware
- Full low voltage installations
- Maintaining surveillance systems
This position involves ground up network cabling installations. Skills that support this work include:
- Experience pulling network cable through existing conduit and related low voltage pathways
- Experience adding cut-in wall boxes for jack locations
- Experience mounting network racks and equipment
- Experience terminating cat3/cat5/cat6 cable
- Experience testing and troubleshooting faulty network lines
- Exceptionally clean and tidy work is a must
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mastery of Windows PC related issues
- Firm understanding of IP addressing, port forwarding, and routing
- Experience installing surveillance systems is a plus
- Conduit and low voltage installation is a plus
- Must be able to work some weekends on call
